The Madison Symphony Orchestra and Conductor John DeMain embark on a new season with Holst’s "The Planets," accompanied by a spectacular, new high-definition film projecting celestial images above the Overture stage. The concert opens with George Enescu’s folk-style "Romanian Rhapsody No. 1," followed by violinist Naha Greenholtz performing in John Corigliano’s haunting "Chaconne," from his Academy Award-winning score for "The Red Violin" film.

Single tickets go on sale to the public Saturday, August 20, 2016, and can be purchased at madisonsymphony.org, by calling (608) 258-4141, or at the Overture Center Box Office.
