Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra presents Masterworks V with guest artists Michael Shinn & Jessica Chow Shinn on piano. Ravel 's Tombeau de Couperin led the way to a revival of old dance forms and a movement towards neoclassicism when completed in 1917. We are excited to feature a commissioned work by New York composer Tom Cabaniss, for duo pianists and former Madisonian's, Jessica Chow and husband, Michael Shinn. They have amazing musical chemistry. We conclude the season in grand style with Schumann's Symphony No. 2, a stunning and virtuosic work that showcases all sections of the orchestra.
See Masterworks' Shinn and Chow Shinn perform at Overture Center for the Arts' Capitol Theater on April 28, 2017!
