Help celebrate Bucky’s Birthday at Badger Bash—the longest running public tailgating party at UW-Madison—Saturday, September 21 at Union South.   The fun begins at noon with  Mike Leckrone and the entire UW Marching Band playing before throngs of rabid Badger football fans about an hour before kickoff of the UW-Purdue football game. New this year – a giant TV outdoor in the Plaza -- adds to the gameday atmosphere before, during and after the Badger game. So, no ticket, no problem; it’s almost as good as being inside Camp Randall!  The cover band, Northern Hooks, also will perform on the Orchard at Union South starting at noon. To celebrate Buckingham U. Badger’s birthday, there will be a “cupcake collage” that forms a likeness of Bucky; so free cupcakes before the game on the Plaza!  Bucky, being the generous Badger that he is, will donate all birthday gifts to “Toys for Tots”.  The US Marine Corps will be collecting Toys for Tots during Badger Bash up until game time.
