Walk with a Doc

Walk with a Doc is a free program for anyone interested in taking steps for their health by enjoying a refreshing, rejuvenating walk in the park. Each walk will be approximately 30-45 minutes. People of all ages and abilities are invited to participate. Attendees are encouraged to bring family members, friends, and neighbors to this great event. Dr. Michael Garren, UW Health Surgery and Complex Hernia Clinic, is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. His clinical specialties include minimally invasive bariatric surgery as well as other advanced laparoscopic procedures, including colon, antireflux, and hernia surgery. He is co-medical director of the UW Health Bariatric Surgery Program. Dr. Michael Garren will be discussing how to ask your doctor effective questions that lead to the best treatment and prevention for your health.
