Alliant Energy Center

The Alliant Energy Center is a 164-acre campus located at the gateway to downtown Madison. Offering flexible and functional exhibit space from 20,000-100,000 square feet, the facility offers abundant features and benefits for convention, trade and meeting planners:

Veterans Memorial Coliseum

• Upholstered seating for 3,000-10,000
• Multi-purpose venue suitable for a variety of surfaces including carpet, ice, dirt, astro-turf or basketball court

• Exhibit space for up to 360 - 8' x 10' booths

Willow Island

• 29 acres of green space in a park setting that features a nine acre isthmus and two large ponds.

 

Travel Green

In April of 2007 The Alliant Energy Center was the largest organization in Madison to receive Travel Green Certification for its efforts to help build sustainable tourism in Wisconsin through its use of green space on Willow Island and environmentally friendly purchasing practices. The Alliant Energy Center also partnered with Johnson Controls to implement energy-saving measures in Exhibition Hall, which include energy-efficient lighting and upgrades to reduce gas emissions.
