• Walk counterclockwise around the square. (It's the way to go with the traffic flow.)
• Want to fill up on free samples? Try the Brunkow tent for fried cheese, Hook's Cheese Company for aged cheddars, and the chili pepper tent for dips!
• If you are looking to beat the crowds, arrive on the square before 8am. Or if you are looking for discounts, wait until just before 2pm when the tents start closing
• Stella's Hot & Spicy Cheese Bread is one of the more popular items. It has a full pound of cheese in the bread! You'll find it on the State Street corner of the square
• Looking to bring your pup down with you? No dogs are allowed on the square during the marketing, unless they are service animals.
• Looking for a gift idea? Farmers' Markets gift certificates are available for purchase in denominations of $5
• Test your friends with this trivia fact—The Dane County Farmers' Market is the largest producer only market in the US, and it just celebrated its 40th birthday last year!
