James Beard Honors

Madison has a long history with the James Beard awards—notably one of the most prestigious awards in food, and referred to as the “Oscars of the food world” by TIME magazine. It’s worth noting that, of the 27 years the awards have been given, Madison restaurants and chefs have earned 24 different nominations, in a variety of categories.
