SWIMMING

The City of Madison has 13 beaches, 10 of which provide lifeguard services. The Public Health Department monitors the daily condition of the beaches. Please be sure to check their website for daily closings and conditions reports. Here is a complete list of Madison beaches along with information on openings and amenities.

In addition to the beaches Madison also has a brand-new public swimming pool. The Goodman Pool, complete with two water slides and several play areas for children, is a great way to beat the heat of summer! Be sure to check on their calendar for special events like Lu-WOW Day and Superhero Day.
