OVERVIEW

Frank Lloyd Wright's two iconic houses of worship in WI--The Unitarian Meeting House and Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church --were built during a broader wave of post-WW II religious construction.  This fast-paced and entertaining talk will look at the factors behind this construction boom, exploring the wealth of midcentury religious buildings in Wisconsin and examine Wright's influence on several of these projects. Presented by Justin Carlos Miller, UWM Historic Preservationist.
