Alternative Photographic Approaches

This half-day workshop welcomes students who are interested in taking their photography beyond the captured image and resulting prints. Students will explore a variety of hands-on post-production photography processes including weaving photographs, hand coloring, and alcohol image transfers

Teaching Artist Angela Johnson will give group demonstrations and will work one-on-one with participants to encourage experimentation, taking low stakes risks, and enhancement of personal style.

Students do not need to be avid photographers, but familiarity with one's camera is encouraged.
