Bike n' Bites Food Tour

Explore the tastes and sights of Madison’s beautiful and bikeable east-side neighborhoods! Join us on a BCycle as we explore the Willy Street, Atwood, and Olbrich neighborhoods.

As we pedal easily (the new BCycles have electric assist and are a breeze to ride!) along the bike path and side streets, we’ll ride along the lake path and neighborhood streets to the Willy Street neighborhood. We’ll learn about the African American history of this neighborhood, including the oldest known Madison resident who lived on Willy Street! We visit Orton Park–Orton Park was Madison’s first city park, and before that it had a more spooky history. Can you guess what it was?

Bike food tours are offered seasonally on Saturdays during the spring and summer months only.
