As a wine region, Burgundy has an intoxicating allure only a few places have. The wines themselves are characterized by scarcity, and the best bottles can be hard to come by for even experienced professionals. But when the Burgundy experience is at its apex, little else compares to it. Reflecting back on some of the wines at the pinnacle of my tasting, many of the most notable were Burgundies, both red and white.
Thus, I would like to invite you to a Burgundy Wine Seminar, alongside a four-course dinner at L’Etoile. We will take an in-depth look at the many regions, crus, and producers of Burgundy wine. We will examine the millennia of history that has led to the most defined wine region in the world. There will be a discussion of the significance of vintages, differing vinification practices, and strategies for collecting Burgundy for both the short term and the longer game. Most importantly, we are going to drink some great wines as we do so and have a delicious meal.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
