CHARCUTERIE 101: CHARCUTERIE BOARD BASICS WITH TRICKY FOODS *DEADLINE TO REGISTER JUNE 19TH 8AM

OVERVIEW

Charcuterie 101 is the perfect place to start! We will cover the basics of creating a charcuterie and cheese board for any season. This includes understanding key design rules, the color wheel, and color balance. No experience is necessary! Registration will close Monday, June 19th at 8am so Tricky Foods can have time to purchase and prepare the correct amount of food.

We are partnering with Tricky Foods to bring you a live charcuterie class, hosted with Therese, owner. Join us on how to create the perfectly eye-pleasing, mouth-drooling, charcuterie board! After this 1.5 hour long class, you’ll be able to wow your guests with your newfound talent of creating salami roses, orange flowers, and a visually (and tasty) balanced snack tray.

This evening will not just be about crafting charcuterie, but also having fun! So bring your gals, your pals, your loves, your kids, or simply bring yourself … you won’t want to miss this fun event!

Ticket options:

1) MOST POPULAR: 1 Participant & 1 Ingredient Kit: This includes one seat in class + all of the ingredients to make and take home a 10in charcuterie board, a charcuterie checklist, and Tips n’ Tricks guide. Your ingredients will be brought directly to class from Tricky Foods! This option is best for those coming alone or if you’d like to take your board home to enjoy with others in your household.

2) 2 Participants & 1 Ingredient Kit: This includes two seats in class + all of the ingredients to make and take home a 10in charcuterie board, a charcuterie checklist, and Tips n’ Tricks guide. Your ingredients will be brought directly to class from Tricky Foods! This option is best for those coming in a pair, those who live in the same household (so you can bring the board back together and share), or if you’d like to snack on your board together at the end of class.

2) 3 Participants & 1 Ingredient Kit: This includes three seats in class + all of the ingredients to make and take home a 10in charcuterie board, a charcuterie checklist, and Tips n’ Tricks guide. Your ingredients will be brought directly to class from Tricky Foods! This option is best for those coming in a group and those who plan to enjoy their creation after class. You most likely will not have leftovers to bring home if you are enjoying the fruits of your labor with a group of 3!

We MUST receive 6+ registrations to hold class. Each person requires advance registration for entry. If the event has low attendance, it is subject to cancellation, in which case we will issue a refund. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY TO SETTLE IN AND ORDER A DRINK. CLASS STARTS PROMPTLY AT START TIME.

We offer an array of wine, beer, cocktails and mocktails. We also offer small bites such as chips & sweets. You are welcome to bring in your own snacks, but no outside beverages are allowed. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WINE AND OTHER BEVERAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE TICKET PRICE.

Our address is 167 S. Fair Oaks Ave. Madison, WI 53704. We are located on the first floor facing S. Fair Oaks Ave. between Restaino Realtors and Blind Shot Social Club. We have a large illuminated sign directly above our space. On-site parking can be found on either side of the building labeled Guest/Commercial Parking. You will park and walk to the front of the building to our entrance. Pay close attention to parking signs, only the spots on the sides of the building are for customers. The rear spots are for residents of the apartment complex only. Free parking is also available on the street. Handicapped parking located in the first stalls in our parking lot. The sidewalk leading up to our studio and our space is also handicapped accessible and our artists will help you with the entrance doors.
