Taliesin’s City Planning camp is designed to educate students about planning, designing and constructing a green community. Students will tour main buildings and natural landscapes of Taliesin and learn about Wright’s principles of organic architecture and his concept of Broadacre City. Students will also be introduced to key elements of city planning, sustainability, and architecture.
During the camp, students will research, design a neighborhood and build 3D models of buildings for that neighborhood. On the last day of camp, students will present their community to parents and exhibit their models.
No prerequisites necessary. Lunch, tour of the estate, and materials included.
