Painter Janet Flynn is the featured artist Saturday, August 11, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM for the International Crane Foundation’s Cranes and Culture Art Series.
Janet Flynn is inspired by the complexity of nature and her work truly captures the intricacy in which it all fits together. Join Janet oto learn how she observes the natural world and applies it to paper. She will lead the group in a choice of watercolor painting and graphite sketching projects.
This program is the fifth in the series of complimentary monthly workshops led by local and regional artists. Each month the International Crane Foundation features a different local artist who will showcase their work – everything from photography to painting and dance. The artists present educational workshops to inspire visitors to express themselves artistically, explore cultural connections and teach participants how art can protect our natural world.
The Cranes and Culture Art Series is a free event. Visitors will not have to pay admission fees to see the artists.
