The perfect antidote to cold and snowy Wisconsin winters? A trip to the Dane County Farmers’ Market Late Winter Market! 35+ farmers, bakers, and cheesemakers bring their wares indoors to the Late Winter Market at Garver Feed Mill on Saturdays, from the new year until the beginning of the outdoor season.
Visitors will find a full array of local produce and products including tender hoophouse grown greens, hearty root vegetables, hyperlocal meats - perfect for day-long slow cooking - and fresh cheese curds for those that need their fix all year long. Grab a coffee while you shop in cozy comfort. In addition to the farmers’ market, there will also be taste tests, music, and kids’ activities throughout the season. EBT/SNAP accepted at the Info Booth. Check out dcfm.org for more details.
Note: on February 29th, market will close early at 11 am to accommodate another event at Garver Feed Mill.
