Dane County Farmers' Market on the Square

2 E. Main St.
Madison, WI 53703
OVERVIEW

The Saturday Dane County Farmers’ Market is the country's largest producer-only farmer's market. It is conveniently located on the tree-lined grounds surrounding the Wisconsin State Capitol building — otherwise known as “the Square” — in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The Market encircles the Square.

The 2023 Saturday Market season will begin on Saturday, April 15 and go through November 11. The only Saturday Market where we are displaced from the Capitol Square is the annual Art Fair Farmers’ Market on July 8. Stay tuned for the location and hours of our Art Fair Farmers’ Market!

As a producer-only farmers’ market, our vendors are limited by their production and harvest yields. This means that they may sell out before the close of Market. Please visit the Market early for the best experience.

Grab your family, friends, and your reusable shopping bags and enjoy a Madison tradition!
