Dane County’s first distiller, Yahara Bay Distillers, will host a Bourbon Pancake Breakfast in June during the distiller’s two-month Preserve Festival that raises awareness and funds for the FEED Kitchens.
Chef Josh Pleasnick will offer traditional pancakes as well as bourbon blueberry herbed pancakes, served with Yahara Bay’s Bourbon Barreled Maple Syrup. The breakfast includes a choice of sausage or Candied Bacon or Wisconsin-based Nueske’s bacon.
The Bourbon Barreled Maple Syrup, aged for six months in barrels that previously held Yahara Bay Bourbon, will be sold at the distillery for $13.60 the day of the event, a 20% discount. Additionally, Yahara Bay’s Limited Maple Cask Whiskey will be sold that day for $20, a discount from the regular $25 retail price.
Tickets include endless pancakes, breakfast meats, milk, juice and coffee.
