Guided Mural Tour & Artist Talk

Join the Madison Public Art Project’s open-to-the-public upcoming guided mural tour & artist talk. This free event is held at McKee Farms Park where the newly unveiled mural, the "Wildflowers of Wisconsin" is currently on exhibition until August 2025. Come spend an hour in nature with us in a conversation with Kiersten Darling and Sapphira Afifi, two of the artists who created this beautiful and important mural. Learn more about their artistic practice, hear some behind-the-scenes stories and the inspiration behind this gorgeous large fiber flora installation. We will also have a community discussion about sustainable practices that individuals are taking to support a resilient future and advance climate action.
