Joyful Bookmaking

Visual thinkers, learners and dreamers! Start your year with intention and creativity at this public, three-hour visual New Year’s resolution workshop inspired by illustrator Julia Rothman’s “More Of / Less Of” activity. 

Together, we’ll reflect on the past year, identify what you want to invite in—and what you’re ready to release—and transform those insights into a one-page, comic-style illustrated resolution board. 

With guided prompts, supportive community energy, and plenty of space to dream, you’ll create personal symbols that capture your hopes for the year ahead. Come reflect, imagine, and draw alongside others—and leave with a meaningful visual reminder to carry with you all year long.

Materials will be provided. Bring a lunch if you want to eat during the workshop.
