Get Ready for the 2025 Madison Shamrock Shuffle! This year’s race falls just 2 days before St. Patrick’s Day—what a fantastic way to kick off your celebrations in your favorite green outfit! With UW students enjoying a later spring break, you’ll have even more time to join in the fun. And to make it even better, all students can use a special 25% off code!


The Madison Shamrock Shuffle is a beloved local tradition, marking the first major race event of the year. Regardless of the weather, thousands of participants dress up in their St. Paddy’s best to run, walk, and shuffle their way through this festive event.

Why We Run: Your participation supports the Boys and Girls Clubs of Dane County, which provide essential programs for youth aged 2.5 to 24. Funds raised will help continue and expand programming for Pre-School, After-School, In-School, and the McKenzie Regional Workforce Center. To date, this event has contributed nearly $500,000 to these vital programs.
