This year, McFarland High School will present three performances of "The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical". Based on Rick Riordan’s best-selling novel, this electrifying musical follows Percy Jackson as he discovers he’s no ordinary kid—he’s a demigod. With a powerful rock score, epic quests, and legendary monsters, "The Lightning Thief" brings the thrilling world of Greek mythology to life in a way that’s fun for all ages.
