OVERVIEW
In a galaxy far, far away, a poet wrote about their soul. This workshop will look outward (to the stars and beyond) as a means of looking inside ourselves. We will read work by poets asking questions as big as the universe—featuring satellites, aliens, Pluto, and other interstellar subjects—and write poems of our own.
In this one-day generative poetry workshop, students will aim to leave the worries, constraints, and rules of daily life behind and explore where our creative minds can go in zero gravity
