Pottery Wheel 101

Have fun while learning the basics of making pottery on the wheel! This 5 week class covers throwing basic forms, trimming and glazing. The work you make will be dishwasher, microwave and food safe. 

This is a great class for those with no experience or for those with previous experience who need a refresher. For ages 16 and up.

No tools required, but please bring a lap towel or apron. Clay may get on clothing but is a non-staining material. If you have long nails, we advise trimming before class. 

Thursdays, 6:00 - 8:00.  This 5 week class begins on Sept 7.

Gretchen has 25 years of experience on the pottery wheel and is passionate about helping others explore ways to use clay as a means to relaxation and escape from the busyness of daily life.
