Reminiscent of grade-school bakery sale this grown-up mini grain festival is part of Yahara Bay’s two month Preserve Festival that celebrates preserved food such as grains, honey, meat and cheese.
On Saturday, June 8 the mini festival will feature a professional bakery sale plus demonstrations by FEED Kitchens’ bakery program instructors, distillery tours and tastings of grain-based products from a local brewery and from Yahara Bay Distillers. Madison’s leading bakeries and restaurants will sell ready-to-take baked breads and sweet treats.
Yahara Bay Distillers Chef Josh Pleasnick will offer a special grain-based menu for the day.
