Teejop & Beyond: Beaded Earrings

OVERVIEW
Indigenous Beadwork is an art form that carries deep cultural and historical significance. Indigenous people express their traditions and stories through vibrant colors and intricate bead patterns. In this intergenerational program, participants will have the option to create a pair of Beaded Ladder Stitch Hoop Earrings or Beaded Fringe Earrings.
This program is for ages 11 and older. Adult/youth duos can register for a single spot if they plan to work together on a pair of earrings.
Registration is required. Registration opens two weeks before the program, November 29th at 9:00am. In addition to online registration, you can reserve your spot by stopping into Hawthorne Library or calling (608) 246-4548.
NOTE: This event will be hosted at Hawthorne Library in the Community Room
