Young Artists Pottery Wheel Throwing

Sundays, 4:00 - 5:00.  2 part class

Sept session: 9/10 and 9/24

Oct session: 10/8 and 10/22

Nov session: 11/5 and 11/19

Middle school age and up. Workshop fee includes both sessions.

Is your teen/preteen pining to try the pottery wheel? The first session of this 2-part workshop will teach the basics of centering on the wheel and shape formation. The second session will be all about decoration and glazing the work. Pickup of the work at a later date will be required.

The class will be taught with an emphasis on having fun with the process and material. We aim to help kids understand that they are creative beings and wish to help them nurture this important part of themselves. We hope to support them in self-expression through clay.

All materials used are non-toxic and food safe. Clay is a non-staining material and readily washes out of clothing. Please send a lap towel or apron with your artist.
