- Description 21 unique, reservable shelters varying in location and capacity up to 170 people. http://www.cityofmadison.com/parks/plan/reserve/ Madison Park Shelters are available for rental from mid-April through early October. Please call (608) 266-4711 to check availability. Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Whether you're looking for a reception hall for a formal wedding or a carefree outdoor shelter for your next family reunion, the Madison Parks shelter reservation system offers a variety of scenic locations that can accommodate a gathering of any size or budget! Fully equipped with picnic tables, restroom facilities, electrical outlets, lights and water, a Madison Parks shelter is a great place for a family reunion, company gathering or even a wedding reception. With most park shelters located near playgrounds, athletic areas, bike paths, beaches and boat launches, entertainment is just a step away.
