An expert explorer will guide you through a garden experience you can’t find anywhere else. Explore a 50-foot high glass pyramid at Olbrich Botanical Gardens, teaming with tropical foliage. Hear the pulsing waters of a rushing waterfall, take in the beauty of global greenery and taste the tropics with an ice-cold refreshment.
Touch the leaves and smell their unique aromas. See where household items get their start. Taste the raw forms of ginger, coco, and more. Drink up the tropical warmth, and a signature drink made from ingredients found in the garden.

Essential Madison Experience
- Availability: Public tours available Thursdays throughout fall and winter months. Private tours and special group experiences available Mon–Fri, 8:30–10 a.m., 5–6:30 p.m. Registration deadline for regularly-scheduled experiences is one week prior. Group reservations must be made two weeks in advance and are dependent on availability.
