Paddle to the Point

800 Langdon St., Madison, WI 53706

Outdoor UW at the Wisconsin Union is currently closed. Rentals and in-person activities are unavailable at this time. Please check back in spring 2021 for updates.

Peruse Madison’s largest lake with a peaceful paddle to the Picnic Point, on Lakeshore Nature Preserve. Learn about America’s most-studied lake from a student guide, and discover what life is like for them on campus.

Choose your own vessel for exploration. A kayak or canoe provides a traditional experience for all skill levels. Test your balance with a stand up paddleboard, or choose cooperative adventure with the SUPsquatch – and eight-person stand-up paddleboard.

Head back to shore for a Wisconsin Union Adventures guidebook and a gift card to explore more of the Memorial Union and Union South.

Let the lakes be your guide! Paddling available daily by request.
