Gamers and Halloween partakers, get ready to freak out! Madison’s largest Halloween bash, Freakfest Music Festival, is back October 29, featuring more than 15 bands on three stages. Come in costume, walk down State Street and listen to live music—entry is only $10! If that’s not enough freakishly good fun, stop by Gamehole Con, November 4-6. As the largest tabletop gaming convention in the upper Midwest, Gamehole Con draws players from around the country for the best in role-playing games—plus you can meet some of the world’s top game designers!
