Fantasy in Lights
November 10, 2018–January 1, 2019

After 29 years, the Fantasy in Lights has become one of Madison’s favorite winter traditions. With more than 50 creative light displays and beautiful Olin Park as a backdrop, it’s not hard to see why. If you’re looking for a free family outing this holiday season, don’t miss these lights.

University Avenue Holiday Lights
November 10, 2018–April, 2019

After 24 years, the University Avenue Holiday Lights continue to shed a joyous glow along University Avenue. More than 200 trees are draped in light to bring cheer to passersby. Drive by, or savor a lovely winter stroll for a closer look.

Zoo Lights
November 15–December 30, 2018

Thousands of lights bring a new way to experience one of America’s best free zoos. Henry Vilas Zoo’s festive Candy Cane Lane will feature a holiday market with a rotating list of vendors, and Santa will stop by every night through December 23.

Shine on Madison
November 17, 2018–January 6, 2019

Enjoy a holiday experience only downtown Madison can offer. With 12 light displays, more than 100 events, and interactive entertainment, Madison will shine brighter than ever. Those looking to get even more involved can vote on the best window displays.

Rotary in Lights – Waunakee
November 25–December 30, 2018

Take a trip into nearby Waunakee for light-lined streets and beautiful holiday displays. Hundreds of volunteer hours transform historic Waunakee Village Park into a winter wonderland. Enjoy the lights either on foot or from your vehicle, and explore Waunakee.
