OVERVIEW
The 16th annual Bioethics Symposium will take place on Saturday, April 5, from 2-6 p.m. in the Play Circle at Memorial Union on the UW–Madison campus. It will feature a staged reading of Homo Ex Machina, a thought-provoking new play that examines the existential impact of a brain implant on the life and love of a married couple. The reading will be followed by an expert panel discussion, including an ethicist, a neurologist, and a philosopher, who will explore the ethical, neurological, and philosophical dimensions of the issues raised in the play.
