Pavilion #1 is heated for year-round use and features:

- 7,900 square foot pre-function area
- Cattle capacity of up to 800
- Horse capacity of up to 400
- 120' clear span
- Covered wash bays, manure storage and outdoor walkways
- Access to milking parlor in Pavilion #2

WILLOW ISLAND
- 29 acres of natural green space on a six-acre isthmus encircled by two ponds
- Paved roadways and pathways that are easily accessible and visible from John Nolen Drive and Rimrock Road
- 1200 amps, 208 volts, 3 phases of electrical power onsite
- Portable ticketing booths, trash receptacles, picnic tables and show-mobiles for stage performances
GETTING TO ALLIANT ENERGY CENTER
Getting to Monona Terrace and downtown hotels from the airport takes less than 15 minutes, making travel quick and convenient for your event attendees. Ground transportation from the airport is available, including taxis, ride share (Uber, Lyft, etc.), rental cars, courtesy vehicles from hotels and Madison Metro Bus Rapid Transit which delivers fast, frequent service with all-electric buses on several routes.
A BCycle e-bike rental station is located across the street in front of the Madison Marriot South at 706 John Nolen Dr. for adventurers who are interested in exploring Madison's incredible system of trails. A protected bike and walking trail runs parallel to John Nolen Dr. for easy access to 300+ restaurants and attractions downtown.
TRAVEL GREEN
The Alliant Energy Center is one of the largest organizations in Madison to receive Travel Green Certification for its efforts to help build sustainable tourism in Wisconsin through its use of green space on Willow Island and environmentally-friendly purchasing practices. The Alliant Energy Center also partnered with Johnson Controls to implement energy-saving measures in the Exhibition Hall, which include energy-efficient lighting and upgrades to reduce gas emissions.
