Devil’s Lake State Park offers a dozen camping areas and plenty of activities and events to keep you busy. Madison Campground, open April 1 to November 1, has tent sites, cabins and RV spots with pull-through and full hookups, laundry, a coffee lounge and an in-ground heated pool.
The Blue Mound campground, about 25 miles west of Madison, is open year-round and boasts nearly 100 sites, some fully accessible for people with disabilities, and each with picnic tables, fire rings, toilets, showers and water fountains. And Capital Springs State Park, just minutes from downtown Madison, has more than 50 fully accessible tent and RV sites, as well as plenty of electrical hookups plus showers, toilets and a dumping station.
