OVERVIEW
Learn the basics of colorwork knitting with Dakota Mace (Diné) while working on a cowl and supporting Diné knit designer, Jennifer Berg. The cowl design is inspired by Diné culture and the knit along will occur through a three week period. Class includes a kit with needles, stitch markers and tapestry needle. Participants may bring their own yarn or purchase at checkout. Yarn must be two skeins of worsted weight in two colors. Sunset Mesa Cowl Pattern and Peaceful People Cowl Patterns will be provided.
Native individuals with tribal affiliations are invited to attend for free; email emily@artlitlab.org for more details.
