Join us for the second annual Black History Month Festival at the Madison Senior Center. This is going to be a joyful celebration of Black culture, heritage, and community for adults 55 and older.

Join us for the second annual Black History Month Festival. This is going to be a joyful celebration of Black culture, heritage, and community for adults 55 and older. The African Center for Community Development is proud to partner again with the Madison Senior Center, Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness, UW Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and community partners to honor our elders and create space for connection.

What to Expect:

  • Hot meal including African cuisine
  • Live music and entertainment
  • Bingo and games
  • Resource tables with community organizations
  • Cultural programming celebrating our diverse Black community

Transportation Available: African Center is coordinating free transportation for our elders who need it. Please indicate need in the registration form to reserve your spot and arrange pickup.
