OVERVIEW
The Saturday Dane County Farmers’ Market is the country's largest producer-only farmer's market. It is conveniently located on the tree-lined grounds surrounding the Wisconsin State Capitol building — otherwise known as “the Square” — in downtown Madison, Wisconsin. The Market encircles the Square.
The 2026 Saturday Market season will begin on Saturday, April 11 and go through November 14. The only Saturday Market where we are displaced from the Capitol Square is on July 11th, 2026 where we will be at Breese Stevens Field.
As a producer-only farmers’ market, our vendors are limited by their production and harvest yields. This means that they may sell out before the close of Market. Please visit the Market early for the best experience.
Grab your family, friends, and your reusable shopping bags and enjoy a Madison tradition!
