Fire & Wonder Winter Gathering

Join us at San Damiano, to embrace the beauty of the winter season at San Damiano’s Fire and Wonder Winter Gathering, a free, family-friendly event open to the public. This is an opportunity to connect with nature, community, and the unique charm of San Damiano regardless of the weather.

Doors open at 4pm; parking is limited and walking and carpooling are recommended.

Highlights include: Bonfire and lakeside fire pits; storytelling of Ho-Chunk Nation history and culture for which pre-registration will be required; Indigenous cording--a demonstration of an educational craft ; kid-friendly scavenger hunt with glow sticks; and warm beverages to drink and marshmallows to roast. The event will conclude with a candlelit walk through the woodland area.
