OVERVIEW
If you look in the dictionary for the definition of supergroup, there might be a picture of Hottt Probs. The band members have a lot of history in the Madison music scene: Tormentula, Transformer Lootbag, Bes Monde, Screamin’ Cyn Cyn and the Pons…the list could go on. More important than that, they flat out rock. Their debut EP is on the way soon.

The Spectral Distortions is a Chicago-based punk band that consists (mostly) of people who do physics research for their day jobs. Their sound is frenetic, loud, and abrasive, and draws from influences which include the Dead Boys, the Damned, and the Minutemen. Their songs are often about science or science culture, and can be both playful and introspective, while having the surprising ability to leave one feeling angry about the universe that we happen to find ourselves living in. They are generally regarded as our universe’s premiere physics punk band.

The Arkoffs play carport rock: it's kinda leaning against the house in a suspicious way and you know it will fall over someday, but for now it's keeping your '78 Duster and the outdoor beer fridge out of the elements...for the most part. They have been "entertaining" "audiences" in some form around the Madison area for nearly a quarter century with questionable covers and objectionable originals. There are two guitars, a bass, drums, and sometimes a sax when the sax player is not riding the rails as the Midwest's leading skahobo. Sometimes there is trouble.

Visiting from the Kenosha area is Moon Rebels, who play catchy-punky rock with a bit of twang. Featuring former Madison musician Loren Tee, who also plays these days with Conan Neutron.
