Illuminati Wine Dinner at Cento

Join us for a foray into a lesser-known hidden gem of Italy, the stunning central region of Abruzzo, guided by Nicola Illuminati. Nicola is the latest in a 130-year history of Illuminati winemaking, and he will be here in Madison to present the unique white and rosé wines of the region along with Montepulciano that is full to bursting with flavor.

Enjoy the wines and Nicola’s stories and expertise alongside Cento cuisine favorites and a specialty in the style of the region. The food will be served family-style to encourage a more relaxed and cozy fall atmosphere, carried along by the beautiful wines and presentation from Nicola. Executive Chef Edwin will prepare two appetizer favorites, Tuna Tartare and Fried Artichokes, alongside Margherita and Prosciutto & Arugula Pizzas and Pellotte Cacio e Ova, an Abruzzian favorite. The rich penultimate pasta course will include the Tagliatelle, Rigatoni al Ragù, and Ravioli di Drago. Finally, the meal will conclude with a selection of 3 cheeses from Wisconsin, Italy, and the Netherlands to round out a special ‘Zanna’ Riserva from Illuminati to close out the meal.

Tickets are $80 per person and include Chef Edwin's four family-style courses and 3 oz of each associated wine pairing, along with a bonus glass of sparkling wine. A gratuity of 20% will also be added to the ticket preorder.
