Lake Wingra Comminity Bike Ride

Celebrate one of Madison’s hidden gems at the Lake Wingra Community Bike Ride on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, from 1–3 pm. Bike, walk, or run the 6.5-mile Lake Wingra Loop, weaving through natural areas, historic sites, and vibrant neighborhoods. Along the route, markers and a digital Story Map highlight Ho-Chunk heritage, park history, ecology, and community stewardship. The event kicks off at 1 pm at Vilas Park tennis court lot (end of Edgewood Ave.), with local experts sharing information and stories along the way.
