Live on Queen

Step into a night of Pride celebration, performance, and unapologetic self-expression at the Orpheum. Live On Queen is a free, open-to-all celebration designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and joyful hosted by Bianca Lynn Breeze. It brings together drag, music, community, and a little bit of magic for an evening that starts with interactive fun and builds into a high-energy drag variety show.

From the moment doors open, the Orpheum becomes a place to gather, wander, and settle into the night. Guests can move between spaces, catch unexpected moments, connect with community, and ease into the celebration before enjoying the show.

Here’s what to expect:

NEW THIS YEAR: The Queen’s Court (Orpheum Lobby 5-7pm)
– Live DJ Set with Femme Noir: A vibey pre-show soundtrack to set the tone for the night.
– James the Magician: Enjoy unexpected moments of wonder and entertainment throughout the pre-show experience.
– Spirit tastings with Brown-Forman: Sip and sample our featured “Slayquila” cocktail, as well as chilled Jack Fire and Jack Blackberry as part of the pre-show celebration.
– Face Painting: Add a little extra color, sparkle, or drama before heading inside.
– Roaming Drag Queens: Catch the queens greeting guests and bringing energy to the evening from the moment you arrive.
– OutReach LGBTQ+ Community Center: Connect with one of Madison’s leading LGBTQ+ organizations during the evening.
– ArtsyBekka Upcycled Pop-Up: Browse one-of-a-kind upcycled products created with color, creativity, and self-expression in mind.
– Food available for purchase from Salvatore’s Tomato Pies, serving throughout the evening
– Dessert available for purchase from Baked Lab, serving throughout the evening
– Full bar and non-alcoholic beverage options available throughout the venue

Room of One’s Own joins Live On Queen with a special pop-up featuring selections for The Smut Room. This curated collection highlights bold, queer-forward reads that celebrate identity, intimacy, and self-expression. Guests are invited to browse a range of titles that are thoughtful, playful, and unapologetically expressive. Whether you’re discovering something new or picking up your next favorite read, it’s a unique addition to the evening’s celebration. Stop by and take a little piece of Pride home with you.
