Painting from an Image in Your Life

In this class, students will create a painting inspired by a meaningful image from their own lives, such as a family photo, a favorite place, a beloved pet, or a special memory. All materials will be supplied. This class is suitable for all skill levels and encourages creativity, storytelling, and artistic exploration.

Lead by Gwen Wu, a Madison-based artist whose work is inspired by nature, water, flowers, and everyday moments. She received her BFA from School of Art Institute of Chicago in 2019. She works primarily in acrylic, creating paintings that combine traditional techniques with a contemporary perspective. Gwen enjoys helping students discover their creativity and develop confidence through the process of making art
