Pour’n Yer Heart Out – 17th Annual Community Iron Pour

Experience one of Madison’s hottest winter art events as FeLion Studios hosts the 17th Annual Pour’n Yer Heart Out community iron pour. This hands-on, family-friendly event invites visitors to carve their own scratch block mold and watch it filled with 2,500°F molten iron during a dramatic live pour.

In the weeks leading up to the pour, FeLion Studios also offers special hands-on workshops where participants can create larger, more detailed relief-style molds and learn the fundamentals of iron casting and mold making in fun and approachable guided workshops held inside Canvas Gallery at Garver Feed Mill. These workshops give makers of any experience level the chance to prepare a piece in advance and see it poured during the main event.

What to Expect:
• On-site scratch block carving - Glitter Workshop, 10am-2pm (all ages, no experience required)
• Tin casting at “Foundry In a Box workshop” - Canvas Gallery, 2pm – 4pm. (all ages, no experience required)
• Live iron pour at 6pm - watch the foundry crew in action.
• Outdoor heated VIP tent. Sample hot Dutch oven appetizers, and experience wood fired saunas sessions & Foundry in a Box workshops. Tickets are limited. ( https://FeLionStudios.com/vip )
