Quill Jewelry and Design with Melanie Sainz

Join Ho-Chunk artist Melanie Tallmadge Sainz for an afternoon of jewelry making, local art education, and community lunch.  In this course you will learn two methods of working with porcupine quills to create your own unique earrings and bracelets to take home. Melanie will share her extensive eperince as a bead artist for over 40 years, through a visual presentation as well as hands on demonstrations.  The class will break midway for a time to eat togehter and  get to know one another.

No experience necessary.

Open to ages 14 and up.  

All jewelry making materials will be supplied. 

Please bring your own lunch.

Tea and coffee and light snacks will be provided.
