OVERVIEW
More than 300 alpacas will compete in the 2026 Great Midwest Alpaca Festival and Wisconsin Alpaca and Fiber Fest April 25 & 26 in Madison. In addition to the halter and walking fleece shows, there will be fiber workshops and seminars on nutrition and animal husbandry. More than 40 vendors will offer everything from alpaca yarn, roving, soap and socks to teddy bears and candles. A selfie booth will offer photos with an alpaca for $5. Silent auction bidding will run through noon on Sunday with proceeds going to alpaca research. All activities will be housed in New Holland Pavilion 1.
