Tunnel to Towers 5K Run/Walk

Join us to run, walk, or volunteer at Dane County's inaugural 5K for Tunnel to Towers. The event honors first responders, current military members, and veterans and raises money for the foundation's initiatives that support first responder and military members and their families in the event of a catastrophic injury or death in the line of duty. The 501c3 was founded in memory of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller whose unselfish decision to run in about 60 pounds of gear from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the World Trade Center on 9/11 will be remembered forever.

Our event seeks to honor all those killed on 9/11/2001 in the terrorist attacks as well as to thank our local first responders and military. The event begins with a short opening ceremony at 0900 hours at the start/finish line with the 5K to immediately follow.
