Home to Madison College Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, & Women's Volleyball The H. Douglas Redsten Gymnasium was built in 1986 and the first game was played on January 14, 1987. On August 25, 1996, the gym was dedicated in honor of former Madison College Athletic Director, Basketball Coach and Golf Coach, the late Douglas Redsten. The facility features three full-court basketball / volleyball courts and bleacher seating for 1,200 spectators. The WolfPack Basketball, Women’s Volleyball, Baseball and Softball teams practice in the gym throughout the year. The gymnasium recently underwent a major face-lift as new, energy efficient lights were installed, a new motorized dividing wall was installed, the floor was repainted and resurfaced, the sound system was updated and new team championship banners were hung. Redsten Gymnasium is also home to the Madison College Athletics Hall of Fame and trophy cases. The displays can be in the concourse outside the north entrance to the gymnasium.
