OVERVIEW
Explore Middleton by trail! The City of Middleton has 27 miles of multi-use trails but cyclists are especially drawn to the Middleton Bike Park and Pump Track. The Middleton Bike Park is nearly four miles of public trails that range from beginner (Fairway trail) to the experienced rider (Mulligan and Slice), with jumps and challenging obstacles and an advanced climb (Chipshot). The jump line is a series of four tabletops located at the eastern end of the property and the skills area is a selection of elevated “skinnies” located just below the jump line. Park maps and trail conditions are available through the City of Middleton’s Park & Rec department. The Pump Track at Middleton Bike Park is the largest in the region and one of the largest in the state of Wisconsin. It opened spring 2024 and contains 15,000 square feet of space and 455 linear feet of ride lines and features seven berms, 21 rollers and one Wood Wall Ride feature. The parks are open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Daily but riding after dark is prohibited. The Middleton Bike Park is a collaboration between the City of Middleton Parks and Recreation Department and Capital Off Road Pathfinders (CORP), and the Pump Track is a collaboration of both groups, as well as Dane County Parks. Both the Middleton Bike Park and Pump Track are managed by the City of Middleton Park & Rec Department. For questions or event information, contact middletonrec@cityofmiddleton.us.
